Every Sunday, I will be highlighting the week’s BWOMS community events. We will be announcing other plans we have for the Substack too, but we gotta take it one step at a time.

BWOMS Events (May 3 – May 9)
Monday, May 4: Stay at Home Open Mic from 8pm to 11:30pm (approx.) MT. Virtual open mic for poets, writers, and musicians. The BWOMS’ community joins us from across the country and even from other locations around the globe! This event is held over Zoom and streamed LIVE on BWOMS’ YouTube channel. Sign up to perform and bring your May 4th related poems; they’re always welcomed!
Tuesday, May 5: Verse & Harmony Open Mic held in person at Rosewood (in El Paso, TX), from 8pm to 12am. A great night for poets, writers, storytellers, songwriters, and musicians. This is a 21+ event and there is no cover. Sign up starts at 8pm and the show starts at 9pm. The list fills up super quickly, so try to get there on time!
Wednesday, May 6: StoryCraft at Crown of Crows, from 6pm-9pm. This event is perfect for storytellers, prose writers, or those who enjoy writing lengthier pieces in general. Four randomly chosen storytellers will get the chance to share their writing and receive feedback. Drop your name into the goblet and let Fate do the rest!
